Sunday, July 27, 2008 8:33 PM Subject: Thank You !! Nina & Floyd, Just wanted to thank you guys for yet another enjoyable weekend stay at your RV campground. Saturday's corn roast was well worth the travel down alone, but everything else was an added bonus. Your place is such a relaxing place to come and visit and to catch up on the rest we miss during our hectic work week. I am always sharing your site information with those RV'ers/Campers I talk with as a MUST see RV site. Please keep up the great work and we hope to see you guys again soon. The Bailey's (Matt, Lorrie, Owen & Ruthie) Lancaster, Ohio USA August 16, 2008 THIS WAS THE MOST "WELL KEPT" CAMPGROUND WE HAVE EVER STAYED AT. IT WAS QUIET, CLEAN AND SO PRETTY. THE PLAYGOUND WAS FUN FOR OUR SON. THE PONDS WERE VERY CLEAN AND THE FISHING WAS GREAT FOR OUR SON. THERE WAS ALWAYS A FISH ON HIS LINE. WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK FLOYD AND NINA FOR THE HARD WORK THEY PUT INTO THIS PARK. WE WILL BE GOING BACK AS SOON AS WE CAN. MARY & RALPH JACKSON BRIGHT, INDIANA Dear Nina & Floyd, In 30 years of camping, we have never found a campground cleaner than Carthage Gap. The bathroom/laundry was wonderful, especially doors on the showers and a place to dress. The grounds were immaculate. We couldn’t even find any stray branches on the ground for kindling. When we asked Floyd where we could find some, he graciously gave us enough to get our fire started. Our site was shaded and lovely. There were no dead branches on the tree above our camper that might have blown down and done damage. Thanks so much for our enjoyable 4 days. We wish you much success in the years to come. We all needed some time to relax and again Owen seems to enjoy camping (The outdoors) as he sleeps so much better when we get out. Floyd, I have removed the Wireless Internet Key (WEP) that you provided me. Service worked like a charm and as advertised. You guys take care, hopefully we will see you guys later in the year!! Thanks, The Bailey’s (Matt, Lorrie & Owen) Lancaster, OH We found Carthage Gap Campground to be very clean and friendly. They treat you like old friends – not like someone who is just passing thru. While stayng there, we checked out 4 other campgrounds in the area and not one came close. It is a campground to check out, not one to pass by. Thank you Floyd and Nina for a great stay. We will see you again in our future travels. Mike and Carol Ratkoski Chittenango, NY From June 4-8, 2007 We had the pleasure of staying at Carthage Gap Campground. The experience was a Delight. From my initial call for reservations thru our entire stay, we dealt with pleasant and personable owners who went out of their way to make us welcome and meet our needs. Upon arrival, we were escorted to a level site with easy access to hook ups. As we walked around the park, we couldn’t help but notice how clean and neat everything was, including the restrooms. I even joked with the owner that it was so clean we couldn’t find any kindling for our fire. This is one of the nicest campgrounds that I’ve been to, and I’ve been camping for over 40 years.
