Carthage Gap is open from April 15th to October 31st (some live-in sites are
available for year-round use) and is located on County Road 56, just off
US Route 50 four miles west of Coolville, OH. We usually have camp sites available,
but you may want to call us, Nina or Floyd,
ahead of time at 740 - 667 - 3072 to make sure or to find out about our rates . We have fishing and swimming available, with other activities at our pavilion. On some weekends with volunteer help, we offer pancake breakfasts, soup bean dinners, ice cream socials, corn roasts, and pot luck dinners. Occasionally we offer hay rides. These activities are fun and are designed to make everyone feel welcome, but are optional. We hope the photos below show Carthage Gap the way we see it. We believe every time you pull into the campground, you'll feel the breath-taking beauty of the campground and the surrounding countryside. During this camping season, we are watching a family of Chukar birds being raised. We welcome your visit with us. Thanks for visiting our page.
